My name is Allison Healan Lawrence. I am a southern girl raised in a rural town called Carl, Georgia. I am married and have one very beautiful daughter. Our family lives in paradise on Amelia Island, Florida. A very quaint laid back town where everyone is on island time. I dabble in photography and at one time had a professional studio. I love scrapbooking, music, walking the beach, being with family and that includes my dogs, Jack – an English Mastiff and Benji – a Cavalier King Charles. I am an alcoholic, am bipolar, and have had a lot of health issues in my life including clinical depression. I have a heart for people who need and want recovery. There is no pain like the pain of addiction. I hope my blog will be of help to you. After 19 years of sobriety I can testify that the sober life is way better than drinking your life away.
